GOODYEAR WELTED
Like most of our collection, the Lenny is made with Goodyear welted, an assembly which guarantees a longevity to the shoe and the possibility, once worn, of re-sole it.
EXCEPTIONAL LEATHER
We exclusively work with European tanneries renowned for their craftmanship and the quality of the leather they offer. Unlike the urban legends that circulate against it, this 100% calf leather is not afraid of water. No waterproofing is necessary either, it is already treated for wet weather thanks to its water-repellent properties.
GOODYEAR WELTED CONSTRUCTION
This sewn consists of two separate seams connected by the welt: 1. the Goodyear seam on the inside, which you cannot see, and 2. The small stitch seam which you can see in the photo opposite.
LEATHER SOLE
Demonstration of 7L's know-how, the work of the sole is also its signature. This is a close channel stitching, the shoes seam is therefore protected from the wear of the first ports. Under the arch of the foot is a metal bevelled waist and fiddleback with a double wooden pegging, a technique inspired by shoemakers and rare in the footwear industry. As for the heel, it's made up of several layers of leather, each still applied by hand today.
